Felix Schmilinsky

I am a Cinematographer living and working in London. I travel all around the world (or just down the road) to shoot narrative films, commercials, promos and documentaries.

Each project calls for its own visual language. I am keen to explore all nuances together with a director to craft that distinct look.

Growing up in the German countryside, a simple click-and-shoot film camera sparked the desire to capture precious moments. Years of documenting skateboarding on videotape and taking pictures of my friends eventually led me to filmmaking.

After learning the ropes working in production companies for feature film and high-end commercials, I studied Cinematography at Bournemouth Film School and FAMU in Prague.

I have filmed commercials for brands such as Nike, Volvo, Adidas, L’Oreal, Asics, Spotify, Vodafone and many more.
My music video work includes collaborations with artists such as Goldfrapp, The 1975, George Ezra and others.
